♣ How does it feel to win the Eurovision? I don´t know, I´ve never lost one!

Dea-tráthnóna!

I was going to tell you about Saturday now then. Have you had an eye on my Facebook page, you might have probably already ferreted out that it was a pretty kickass awesome night  :D

This was what I was wearing  :D

The evening would be spent with Bestie Westie Ammi and we would get to enjoy a great evening of food at Spices, yummy dessert on Café de Paris and of course the evening's highlight: Irish Evening w/ Johnny Logan + evening at the Ritz ended on top with a Meet & Greet with Mr. Logan himself, and finally, we ended an fantastic evening at O'Malleys each with a Guinness *surprise surprise*

In addition, when I came home, I got to see a drop dead gorgeous Nico dance an Argentine tango to Adele´s Sky Fall and fittingly, he was dressed as James Bond. My my, I need not say that he ... was looking hot as hell! As well, Daniel Craig who? - Nico can easily take over as the next James Bond.

In any case, it was not what I would write about in this post + I have posted pictures and the dance here in previous posts so you know how amazeballs it was. Yet they ended up in the dance-off: one against Michael... Like, why? But thankfully, the jury saved them.

It got a little off topic there now *oops*

Back to our Irish Evening.

On the whole, it was a bit of an international night: we ate dinner at Spices, where I took the fried noodles w / shrimp & chicken *nami nami* It really was a fillingdish, jaysus! It was really good + relatively cheap too!

Since we were so satisfied by the large portions of Spices, we skipped dessert there and went instead to the Café de Paris, where I took a cinnamon cappuccino and carrotcupcake. I was pleasantly surprised by cappucino, God so good!

After we drank up and knicker-knackered about the usual (for us (;) walked to the Ritz, which was a new place for me. We were out in good time, so we sat down in the very comfortable leather chairs and we got listen to the sound check, lol, taking place behind close doors. During the soundcheck we found out one of the songs would be Galway Girl, which especially made Ammi thrilled to bits. It´s featured in the PS I Love You-movie and we got that for her for her birthday :-)

As the clock neared 19, we start to go in and beat us in the courtroom. Eventually the show and ... yes, damn good it was! I promise, you were not there, then you missed something! It does not matter if you do not like Irish Folk music or ESC music, it was in any case such a kickass awesome show that it is not wise! We also came right quickly, and I Ammi, we probably were some of the youngest in the audience - the rest was probably at least 40 +. Hihi!

Not to mention all the wonderful songs we heard, both Irish folk songs ♡ Irish Rover, Whiskey in the Jar, The Town I Loved So Well ♡, Tim Finnegan's Wake, Galway Girl ♡ and Belle of Belfast ♡ .
I enjoyed the course of all these songs, but I missed Molly Malone ♡. We also got to hear a Christmas song, Save this Christmas for Me, and other "normal" songs, such as Shine.

Of course also included the three (!) songs Logan has won the Eurovision Song Contest: What's Another Year? (1981), Why Me? (1992) and ♡ Hold Me Now ♡ (1987). Shoot that song is good! I still do not understand why it was chosen as the best-ever ESC song, but just came 3rd
Not fair, not fair!
In addition, we heard one, hmm, "new" song that he writes to next year's ESC. Well, do not think he will win for the fourth time * moahaha *

In addition to a completely amazing show, there was lots of laughter. My God, that man is hilarious! And the things that came out of his mouth...! One of the jokes he told me you can see in the title of this post ;-)
The jokes were the items even more fun with his Irish accent *lovely* + guys in his band (brother, one Swedish and the rest Danes) was also hilarious. T
here was talk about Vikings at one point so I and Ammi immediatly thought of our Viking-relateade nickname that we + Angie got from The Burren-guide. LOL!

When the show was over (the bonus track was Hold Me Now in a different vintage), we went out and realized that it would also be signing so we waited for the course. We got great comments about our bags and I was praised for my scarf (Croker-scarf, lol) and even Mr. Logan noted that, his comment was, like, "Croke Park? Where did That come from?" LOL! I got permission to tell that it was from Dublin and I was there last summer, which is followed by "Wow it'sa small world, is not it?" I got a nice autograph + a photo with Mr. Logan, how awesome is that!

After we checked out the jackets, we trudged towards O'Malleys. It was relatively cold on Saturday night so I thought if I strongly beyond the traditional Guinness pint would take an Irish coffee but it just got a Guinness.

It is quite obvious that Little Christmas 2012 is the best Little Christmas is the best to-date (as with Midsummer 2012) and it has to happen something beyond the extraordinary for it to be surpassed.

Then there would be if someone else in the class with Johnny Logan coming to Vaasa, yes why not the Ritz... I already have two very specific proposals in mind.

Let's face it though - there's not a chance in hell that it would happen. Does not matter how much you'd bean & pray and spamming on various social networks. UNFORTUNATELY

On the other hand, who knows ...?
*Fingers crossed*

Dea-oíche!
