Hello peeps!
I know, I know --
it's been forever! The only regularly entries posted in the blog are the Musical Top 3 ones, and even those haven't been weekly all the time lately...
But I figured, I would try to get this blog back to a more daily blog so... Let's see what I've been up to lately. My last daily life entry was at the beginning of August *oops* so there's quite a lot to catch up on.
When school started in the middle of August, I was told that I would have 2*kitchen and 2*serving, this was compulsory even for me who will get my Reservation Agent certificate. It made no sense, so I protested. Loudly.
So after discussing with the teachers, it was agreed that I would start my trainee work this period as soon as I found a place. A place other than Hotel Astor. It was fun and all being there last year and earlier this year, but I wanted to see something else -
and so, last week I started my 9 weeks long trainee period at Hotel Rantasipi Tropiclandia here in Vaasa. It's bigger than Astor, has its own kitchen & restaurant + conference spaces, so there's a lot more like an hotel, if that makes sense. I'm doing both Conference & Reception during these weeks.
I also celebrated my 29th birthday, which means I've officially entered the very last year of my 20s. Oh Gawd...
Now to the most exciting thing!
Me and my bestie Ammi are going on a cruise to Stockholm in November. Yay! It's gonna be so awesome! It's been two years since I've been to Stockholm last, and I've missed my previous second home. It's going to be amazing, I'll get to show one of the best, most beautiful cities in the world to my bestie.
And... we'll be getting a bonus on the way en route from Stockholm ;)

This whole trip also don't cost us that much, not at all. I'd call it cheap. The total price for two persons ended up being 86 € - including the bus roundtrip Vaasa-Helsinki and the ferry. Insane! It's going to be amazing, kickass amazeballs and I wish it could be November already! :D
