Goodbye GLEE and Thank You for Everything!
♥
The time has come, peeps. Glee is no more. This show has meant so much to so many people and it was in so many ways ground-breaking, a phenomenon. I'm sad that it's over now and that we will never get to see the New Directions again...
I cried at the PaleyFest panel so
-- of course I cried at the two final Glee episodes ever, called 2009 and Dreams Come True. They ended 2009 with freakin Don't Stop Believin', the original performance from the Pilot! *sobs*
It was like...
"Oh no, don't you dare..."
Glee: ♫ Just a small town girl... ♫
"Damn you...!" *collapsing on the floor in a poodle of tears*
Sinceriously, I'm not kidding, I was bawling my eyes out.
Then we have Dreams Come True... Somewhere in the episode, we got a time jump on 5 years, where we learned a few things: for instance, Rachel was married to Jesse *really?*, she was pregnant with Klaine's baby *aawh!* and just like some Gleeks had wished/anticipated for the series finale, she won an award. And yes, during the thank you speech, I cried.
Another thing that got me crying, was when Rachel performed This Time. Again, bawling my eyes out. The song's written by Darren Criss and... Well, let him talk about it. [x]
The song is gorgeous. Darren is... Lea is... ♥ I love them both so much!
I'm speechless, so just let me quote what someone wrote as a comment on YouTube:
"Darren and his writing skills KILL ME! Then you add Lea Michele's vocals to Darrens words...CRYING SO HARD!"
