✘ Aunque llueva y nos mojemos No pararemos de bailar

Helloy!

I'm in Vaasa now, came here last night. I have two more days of the workshop to do and then I'm done with that. The workshop is fun, it's in Finnish so I have to really focus on the lectures and what my group mates are saying to me. Sometimes I have to switch to Swedish, though...

After the work shop is done, all that's left then is the Enviromental Law exam in June sometime.

On Sunday it was Mother's Day. We gave mam an Orchid, a blue Orchid (it's gorgeous) and something else. We also had cake, strawberry cake from NB. Delicious!

Eurovision Song Contest happened this weekend. I have a few of my favourite listed a bit down. Although, I have to say that one of the very highlights was seeing my Darlin Dubs Nicky Byrne presenting the Irish votes. He's so handsome! :D This year I didn't totally freak out like I did last year [ESC Fun 2013] but I did a lot of fangirling (even with mam sitting in the same room, LOL).

Of course you wanna know if I thought the right song won! HELL YES! Say whatever you want about Conchita Wurst's appearence (I'm not at all saying that it's wrong, people look the way they wanna look, deal with it!) the song is amazeballs! It's like a musical number! It would also be perfect as a Bond theme *hihi*
And, like so many already have stated, considering how the world looks today (read: Russia) a win like this, with a song like this and its lyrics was much needed
I have also heard, though, that some parents didn't let their children watch Conchita's performance because of the way she looks, to a small child it may seem confusing... and it might be difficult for the parents to explain it... I get that, yes, and I feel that it's unnecessary for people to critizice the parents but on the other hand... If the parents in question had been more open about this, to kids that might understand, there wouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

Also... Sweden and Sanna Nielsen! She came on 3rd place! *applause applause* I knew she would place amazing! Take that everyone who said 'Urgh, this will be a disaster, she will fail, the song is too boring, people will forget the song, we should've sent Ace Wilder instead..' after she won the National finale in Sweden. And I bet, after she placed this wonderfully, the people first critized her after the win in Sweden, have joined the ones who actually had faith in Sanna and the gorgeous song! I personally saw it on Twitter where one tweeted how amazing Sanna was etc and I was like... Yeah, but a few weeks ago you thought she would fail! LOL

It also went very well for Finland! 11th place! This was the best place since 2007 when Hanna Pakarinen came... hmm, was it 17th? And we got tons of scores, wohoo! According to the televoting result that was released after the finale, Softengine w/ Something Better was #1 in Italy and #3 in UK.

And finally... Carina sent me this. It's from JT's concert from Copenhagen...
I'm in tears! Serious goosebumps! I really hope this tour will be released as an tour dvd. I also wanna see JT back in Finland/Europe asap.
