Evening peeps!
Thought I´d share my Helsinki-trip with you. I´ll write short sentences about the most interesting parts and in the end of the entry, you´ll see photos.
► Started Tuesday morning with a long bus ride to Helsinki.
► Checked in to our hotel and immediatly changed into our fancy clothes. Walking around in high heels on the icy streets of Helsinki might or might not have been a smart choice.
► Dinner at Hard Rock Café, the coolest restaurant ever + the food was delicious (and pricy!)
► The musical Kristina från Duvemåla was amazing! The actors, the storyline and the music was fantastic! I got goosebumps during one song, reminded me of the same chills I got under You Raise Me Up at Croke Park. That says something, doesn´t it?
► Enjoyed breakfast at the hotel on Wednesday morning - wasn´t that impressed with the breakfast options, and I usually love hotel breakfasts - this was a disappointment in comparison to the hotel´s great standard
► Shopping, didn´t buy much. Looked at some dead cute baby clothes for the soon-to-come arrivals but decided to wait a bit - might be weird if I´d bought girl clothes and it´s a boy! *hihi*
► Travelling home was so hard, the road was bumpy, I couldn´t sleep and I got annoyed a lot
Snowstorm on Tuesday morning
Seeing this, didn´t make you look forward to a 5-6 hours long bus ride
Can you see the snow pouring down at all?
Our view at Svenska Teatern, can´t complain!
Beautiful paintings in the roof of the theatre
My dinner at Hard Rock Café on Tuesday afternoon + as a "dessert" I ordered Bailey´s Coffee (delicioouus!)
Déa oíche!
